HOTEL GRIZZLY 3*- Loc. Fondo Piccolo - Folgaria A two-day event for cycling enthusiasts, featuring two breathtaking rides along the trails of Alpe Cimbra. Guests will be guided and accompanied by a professional instructor from the Scie di Passione school. Programme: Friday – arrival at the hotel and dinner Saturday – Bike Tour with a dip in Lake Lavarone A tour that allows us to discover the Oltresommo and Lavarone areas. Cutting through meadows and pastures, we’ll reach the beautiful lake, the blue and green pearl of Trentino. How about an aperitif on the beach and, why not, a refreshing dip? (weather permitting, of course...) But let’s not relax too much – we’re only halfway through the excursion. To return to Folgaria, a long but gentle climb awaits us to reach Passo Sommo once more and head back towards Fondo Piccolo. Approximate route length and elevation gain: 30 km and 800 metres of elevation gain Sunday - Toraro Ring Bike Tour At a certain point along this route, it feels as though the world ends, as though there is nothing beyond the horizon! Yet beyond the horizon lie the valleys of the Veneto-Vicenza region, with Asiago in the distance. It is a succession of horizons and vast expanses, of panoramas and glimpses between Trentino and Veneto, which makes us feel as though we are in an unusual and special place. And special it truly is: a circular route around Mount Toraro, a border mountain that witnessed the battles of the First World War and housed a radar station during the… Cold War Chamois, roe deer, eagles and hawks may well be our unusual and unexpected travelling companions. Energy and time permitting, we won’t miss out on a visit to Base Tuono near Lake Coe and a refreshing stop at the Hangar Bar.
